Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what we need to get your electrical job quoted, we pass it to one electrician, and nobody else sees it. The detail is below.

What we collect

Whatever you choose to send us. For a electrical request that is usually your name, phone, email and the address, the work you need, the age of the panel or wiring if you know it, and any photos of the panel. Calls to this site's number are logged with the calling number and time, and voicemails are recorded and transcribed.

How it is used

Your details go to a single independent electrician serving Kitchener — the one who will quote on your service & panel upgrades, ev charger installation, knob-and-tube & aluminum wiring or similar job — and to no one else. That electrician works under their own insurance and any licence the trade requires.

Cookies and tracking

Nothing is tracking you here. There is no analytics script, no Facebook or Google pixel, and no cookie banner because there are no cookies. The host's server logs are the only record of a visit.

Retention

As long as it takes to handle the request, plus a reasonable period for follow-up and our records. Voicemail recordings are purged on a rolling schedule.

Getting your information removed

Write to hello@kitchenerelectricians.ca. You are entitled under PIPEDA to see, correct or delete what we hold. Messages from us are only about your request, and replying STOP ends them under CASL.
